Our Story
Established in June 2007, Tides is a small family owned restaurant located in Goring`s Aldsworth Avenue. Our fully licensed restaurant has gained a strong local reputation for our relaxed and warm atmosphere, genuine friendly service, freshly produced home cooked food using locally sourced fresh ingredients
Owned and run by Proprietors Mark & Ali Hurst, Tides is the culmination of our combined experience in the catering industry, from Cruise Liners to Branded Restaurants, from Four Star Hotels to Fine Dining Restaurants.
Our mission is simple: top quality ingredients sourced from local suppliers, freshly prepared to order on the premises, traditional home cooked dishes, genuine friendly service in a relaxed and warm atmosphere, at prices that are affordable and great value for money.
What started as a small daytime café has now grown into a busy, successful restaurant, which also holds regular theme nights, private functions for any occasion, outside catering, as well as breakfast, lunch and dinner!
